Travel China
We are here to make your journey to the camp as easy and smooth as possible. So below are some essentials and recommendations to make your life that little bit easier.
Once you have your flights booked, we will make sure transport for pick up and drop off at the airports are arranged for you to make your life as simple as possible. We have put this into the package for you as unless you speak mandarin Chinese, taking a taxi to the accommodation can be very difficult. Even though Uber works in Beijing it is actually banned at the airports.
Once you arrive, all transport between locations have been arranged by us for the group, so there is nothing to worry about on that side. Should you require arriving/leaving, before or after camp dates, we can help arrange this for you as well.

Visa
For most nationalities coming to China requires a visa. The visa required for this trip would be a tourist visa. The best place to attain this would be your local Chinese embassy or travel agency.
Tourist visas generally allow up to 30 days stay which is more than enough for the camp. You will need a flight booked to apply.
Some visa applications may require proof of accommodation in China. We can provide this if it is needed.

Airport
Depending on the country you are coming from the flights will vary. For the flight in you will need to fly into Beijing International Airport, leaving will be from Guilin Airport.
If that airport is not ideal for your return flight, we can help arrange for you to fly back to Beijing and take a flight from there. We will have staff in Beijing to help take care of this.
For booking flights we recommend www.momondo.com for cheap and flexible flights.
